Bob Stern
Mr. Peanut
Details
A gentleman with a history all his own, Mr. Peanut is a one-of-a-kind mixed media sculpture by artist Bob Stern. His whimsical figure is constructed from architectural salvage, antique hardware, and found objects dating from the late 1800s through the 1940s. From Kodak lenses and Victorian porch spindles to an antique cotton bale scale, each element has been thoughtfully repurposed to give Mr. Peanut his unmistakable character.
