Details

This large, shallow ceramic stoneware bowl features an intricate textured mandala design at its center. Created by molding a slab of clay over a bowl form, with an added pedestal foot built in, lace and other textures have been stamped into the clay. Textured designs cover the interior and exterior, enhanced by earth-toned green and soft blue glazes. In the center interior, radiating symmetrical areas of contrasting textures are glazed with vibrant red, gold, pink, and white. Functions as a bowl or wall-hanging. Signed by the artist.
