Details

This is a large, handblown glass vessel that has a fluted opaque blue body.  It has a design of vivid lime green veining winding organically through a field of blue and white pattern. The dark, iridescent lip and foot feature hues of soft, metallic green and violet, and the interior is a dark ruby color. Different minerals make different colors when doing hot-glass techniques: cobalt is blue, copper carbonate is green, and manganese dioxide is purple.
