Details

Using stoneware clay formed over a heart-shaped mold, this piece is lighter than it appears. This sculpture features a smooth, deep teal glaze moving from the left side to the center. The right edge of the heart is highly detailed with textures imprinted from lace and sculpted smooth shapes carved as a pattern. Black glaze was rubbed into the textures with contrasting white, pink, orange, and green glaze added like a mosaic. The smoothly sculpted and red-glazed flower on the right side stands out against the delicately textured cream organic circular shape. The narrow band of red and white crosses the heart at an angle on the left side.  It is wired and ready to hang indoors or outdoors.

Suitable for indoor or outdoor display. Bring indoors if temperatures fall below 35°F. Clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth and handle with care to preserve detailing.
