Details

This large handmade ceramic stoneware bowl is created by moulding a slab of clay over a bowl form, with an added pedestal foot built in. Stamps and lace are pressed into the clay to create texture contrasts, resulting in a mandala-like motif offset in the interior. Earth color glazes contrast with bursts of red, gold, and teal color glazes, creating mosaic-like details. Functions as a bowl or wall-hanging. Signed by the artist.
