This kaleidoscope, titled “Rhapsody”, is a limited piece made from reclaimed musical instrument parts to help people celebrate their personal connection to music. The Rhapsody has a vibrant ever-changing mandala of cool toned colors and patterns that symbolize the alchemy of making music. The body of the scope rests upon a clarinet mouth.
Rhapsody is a sculptural medley of flute parts, clarinet parts, vinyl record parts, guitar strings, guitar picks, guitar tuner gears, glass shards, Swarovski crystals, charms cut from a broken cymbal, trumpet button, mirror glass, plexiglass & vintage cat eye marbles.
