This large hand-thrown clay pot features two hand-built handles with rings on its sides. Designed as an “over pot” for a plant, it is exquisitely hand-painted using beautiful, flowing brush strokes and delicate color glazes. Naturalistic persimmons, lush foliage, tiny bugs, and shimmering 14K gold bees and dragonflies with a small bird hiding among the branches cover the exterior. 14K gold accents are on the base of the pot and the rings in the side handles. The interior is a bright, glossy yellow glaze with a stenciled vine motif. The glazing techniques are elegant and technically superb.

Care and Use
