Cali Bunny

This sculpture is a freestanding rabbit bust overlaid with a variety of shapes and colors of beads and crystals. The artist meticulously replicates the natural flow of rabbit fur in her directional placement of the beads and includes glass eyes for realism.

This is Cali Bunny, exhibiting a rainbow line of pink, yellow, and green crystals moving from the tip of the nose, past the eyes and around to the exterior of the ears. The bridge of the nose is faceted with clear aurora borealis crystals. A metal butterfly charm rests at the base of the right ear. A stylish bow tie, encrusted with pink faceted crystals and clear aurora borealis crystal drops sits at the neckline. The intricate beadwork continues fully around the entire form revealing elaborate geometric mandala patterns utilizing orange, pink, and green beads. The backs of the ears feature iridescent teardrop gems.The sculpture rests on a flat base finished with a continuous trim of floral beadwork.

Handle with extreme care. Keep out of direct, harsh sunlight to prevent fading of the sequins and fabric. To clean, do not use any liquid cleaners or damp cloths; simply dust very gently with a soft, clean, dry bristle brush to navigate the intricate beadwork, sequins, and mixed media attachments.
