Multi Techno Lion
Multi Techno Lion
Details
The lion head is masterfully sculpted from sustainable agave plant fibers, each strand carefully applied by hand to create a rich, layered texture. A hand-sculpted clay nose and glass-like blue eyes add lifelike detail, while the rounded ears, full regal mane, and delicately crafted whiskers capture the unmistakable essence of the lion. A dynamic color scheme blends fiery reds, deep blues, and lighter shades of blue with accents of green. Every strand is hand-painted by airbrush with precision, giving the piece a striking dimension.
Anne Andersson’s artwork provides a humane alternative to trophy hunting and taxidermy. Her one-of-a-kind sculptures of exotic species do not contribute to their suffering. These sculptures are intricately handcrafted from the fibers of the Agave sisalana plant, which the Aztecs and the Mayans used to make fabrics and paper. Inspired by the majesty and beauty of exotic wildlife, and motivated by an urge to preserve them, Anne’s astonishingly realistic life-size sculptures capture the experience of seeing these animals up close without exploiting them. Born in Sweden, Anne has a Bachelor’s degree in Science from Kjällbergska University in Gothenburg and a degree in Art from the Art Institute of Fort Lauderdale.
