Neon Bunny

Details

This sculpture is a freestanding rabbit bust overlaid with beautiful beads and crystals of various shapes and sizes. The artist meticulously replicates the natural flow of rabbit fur in her directional placement of the beads and includes glass eyes for realism.

This is Neon Bunny who is encrusted with black, purple and dark beads.The face features dark glass eyes framed by copper and bronze seed beads. A cluster of blue and clear faceted crystals is centered on the bridge of the nose. The back of the sculpture is black bugle beads embedded with two enameled metallic butterfly charms. Additionally, a vertical geometric motif includes a purple domed cabochon and a textured iridescent glass piece framed by blue faceted crystals. A bow tie encrusted with dark blue and clear faceted crystals sits at the neckline. The sculpture rests on a flat base finished with a thick trim of bright magenta crystals.

Care and Use

Handle with extreme care. Keep out of direct, harsh sunlight to prevent fading of the sequins and fabric. To clean, do not use any liquid cleaners or damp cloths; simply dust very gently with a soft, clean, dry bristle brush to navigate the intricate beadwork, sequins, and mixed media attachments.
