This limited edition kaleidoscope is crafted from reclaimed musical instrument parts, designed to celebrate the harmony between visual art and music. Resting on a clarinet mouthpiece base, this sculpture includes the chamber, mirror, and scope for the optical patterns to be produced from fragments of vinyl records, Swarovski crystals, and glass shards moving as the viewer looks inside. Hand-signed “WBW 2023”, this one-of-a-kind work blends visual and musical art. A kaleidoscope is an instrument with mirrors allowing the operator to see patterns from moving items inside the instrument.
