Turtle Mosaic Surfboard

This handcrafted sculpture is built on a reclaimed surfboard and composed of hand-cut glass and mirror. The surface image is designed, each piece of glass and mirror is hand-cut and assembled on the board with adhesive and grout. The colorful sea turtle swims in from the right side of the composition in front of the mirrored background. The soft, organic shapes that depict the sea turtle beautifully contrast the sharp, angled mirror shapes. Designed for flexible display, it can stand on a base or be wall-mounted.
